Is It A Smart Idea To Face The Sub Toward The Car If It Is Placed Between Seats?
Im replacing the back seats with bucket seats and im goin to put in a sub box inbetween with the sub facing the car. Is this a smart idea, to put the front of the sub facing the inside of the car and the where the air pushes into the car instead of the trunk.

as long as nothing is going to damage the cone of the woofer (a friend hitting the sub, a baseball bat loose in the seat hitting the sub, anything hitting the cone of the sub is bad) then its fine to be in whatever direction you want (other than down obviously.)
try it forward, then upward, then backward
each time sit in different seats of the car and see how it sounds.
different cars naturally make different noise out of each position due to the interior shaping and size of the interior.
whatever one sounds the best go with it man!
nooo. it wont hurt but you want your sub to get the recommended air flow. i have done it for 8 months when i had a single cab s10 and it didnt hurt but if anything, face the subwoofer(s) twards the ceiling, that will prevent any of your dumbass friends of sticking near it that might damage your sub. if i would face the suv twards your seats i would leave a good 4 to 6 in.
